My Decision to keep a Journal
I know what you are thinking. A guy keeping a journal? How manly is that? Time to cash in the "Man Card" Well, not really. I made the decision to start a journal because it lets me express myself on paper, that I would not normally do in a Face-to-Face situation. It helps me vent, it helps me cope with issue I may be having internally and all the while it is my private thoughts. No one will read it. Well, maybe upon my death when my family is going through my belongings. It is a way of me documenting what I think is important in my life, my goals, my goal progress, my feelings and what I am going to do about them. I feel it is a way to better myself by identifying my flaws, how I handle certain situations and how I feel about certain things. Am I any less of a "Guy" for making this commitment in my life? Absolutely NO. Think about it. Try writing down your thoughts, dreams, goals or rants. You will feel better and less stressed about life in general.

Something About Black and White Photography
I have always loved Black and White Photography, whether it was Ansel Adams or the early work of William Eggleston (later I completely fell in love with his color work). It has been said that a person can see more in a black and white photo than one that was captured in color. For me personally, it is a matter of mood or emotion that seems to come out of a really good black and white image. Here are a few images I took out and about St. Louis, Missouri and St. Charles, Missouri, where I live.
